Agile
Agility is the competence to adapt rapidly to change in an organizationally aligned way. It has it’s foundation in software development recognizing the need to adopt to changing requirements, as they evolve with the insights established while developing the product through intensified collaboration with the customer. It is a misconception to believe that agile development wouldn’t entail the necessity to plan. To the contrary, agile Project Management builds on much more detailed planning and its visualization to facilitate contextual collaboration and team engagement at grass root level, much more than any other Project Management discipline. In addition to that, agile development builds on ceremonies and artefacts establishing KPI based team performance measures and team & customer feedback loops. Incremental improvements are established within the cadence of ceremonies and their iterations. The agile mindset is described through four values and twelve principles outlined in the Agile Manifesto.
